A person who has difficulty with the production of verbalized speech
Expressive Language Disorder
Impairs a persons ability to verbally communicate accurately or appropriately. A person could could understand a speaker but has difficulty putting words together to express their own thoughts and ideas.
Receptive language disorder
Impairs a person ability to comprehend language. A person could be able to speak clearly and accurately but has difficulty following directions, answering questions accurately/ appropriately.
